How much does it cost to join Scentsy in Canada?
Joining Scentsy in Canada starts with a few Starter Kit options. Each month, Scentsy may offer a new join special, so be sure to check the current promotions. Every kit option gives you access to the Scentsy Consultant website, Training Center and the tools you need to get started right away. Scentsy also offers a full Starter Kit that includes products, samples, catalogs and business supplies. Whether you choose a smaller kit or a larger kit, you’ll have what you need to begin.
What comes in the Scentsy Starter Kit?
The full Scentsy Starter Kit includes a warmer, wax bars, fragrance testers, catalogs, brochures and everything you need to launch your new business. Smaller Starter Kit options include your personal consultant website, online training and immediate access to the Consultant Store, and may also include a warmer and catalogs — making them perfect for getting started when you don’t need a lot of physical supplies.
Can I join Scentsy without a sponsor?
No. Scentsy requires every new consultant to enroll under a sponsor — but you do get to choose who that sponsor is. Your sponsor is the person who welcomes you, supports you and helps you get started. Choosing a strong, active sponsor can make a big difference in your success. When you join through my link, you receive training, mentorship, tools and guidance from day one. I’ve been a Scentsy consultant for over 16 years and actively work with my team on a daily basis, sharing tips, training and recognition. Even if you don’t choose me, I always encourage you to choose your sponsor wisely and do your research — being in the same town doesn’t always mean the best support. Look for someone who is engaged and committed to helping you grow.
How long does it take to start selling after I join?
You can begin selling within minutes. Once you complete your enrollment, your Scentsy consultant website becomes active right away. Customers can start placing orders immediately — even before your starter kit arrives in the mail. You don’t need your start up kit to start placing orders
Do I need previous sales or business experience to join Scentsy?
Not at all. Scentsy was designed so anyone can succeed, even if they've never sold anything before. Many Consultants start with zero experience and learn as they go. You’ll receive access to Scentsy’s online training center, plus team support, tips, and step-by-step guidance so you always know what to do next.
How do Scentsy Consultants earn income?
Scentsy Consultants earn commission on the products they sell. Commission starts at 20–25% and can increase to 30% when you reach higher sales levels. Consultants may also earn additional bonuses through personal sales and team leadership, if they choose to build a team. Earnings are paid weekly for online orders, with leadership bonuses paid monthly, making it a flexible income opportunity.
Are there sales requirements to stay active as a Scentsy Consultant?
To remain an active Scentsy Consultant, you need to reach 250 PRV within a 12-month period. There are no monthly quotas, no required personal orders and no minimums you must meet every month. The 250 PRV must be achieved in one qualifying month (it cannot be split across multiple months). Once you reach 250 PRV, you remain active for the next 12 months. This amount equals approximately $363 CAD, making it a flexible option for those who want to work their business at their own pace.
Are there hidden fees after I join Scentsy
There are no hidden fees. The only optional ongoing cost is your Personal Website after the free trial period, which is $18 CAD per month if you choose to keep it or not. Aside from that, any additional supplies (such as catalogs, samples, or business materials) are completely up to you. We also have a Warmer and Scent of the month subscription for consultants that is completly optional as well.
Do I have to host Scentsy Parties to be successful?
Not at all. Hosting parties is one way to share Scentsy, but it’s definitely not the only way. Many Consultants grow their businesses through online parties, messenger shopping, social media, vendor events, fundraisers, personal shopping links and repeat customers. You can build your Scentsy business in the way that feels most natural and comfortable for you.
Can I work my Scentsy business entirly online?
Yes. Many Scentsy Consultants run their business 100% online using social media, their personal Scentsy website and digital tools. If you prefer working from your phone or laptop instead of hosting in-person events, Scentsy fully supports an online-style business.
What kind of training will I receive when I join Scentsy?
Scentsy provides a full Training Center inside your consultant dashboard, with step-by-step modules covering sales, customer service, product knowledge and business basics. On top of that, you'll receive team support, coaching, tips, scripts, and simple action steps from me. You’ll never have to figure things out alone — there’s always guidance available.
Scentsy has a consultant training every single Tuesday you can watch live, or watch the recording later. I also provide my team with training through our team Facebook group with links to trainings I have done.
Can I earn free products or rewards as a Scentsy Consultant?
Yes! Scentsy offers several ways to earn free and discounted products. You can earn rewards through your own parties, new Consultant incentives, promotions, and seasonal challenges. Consultants also have the chance to earn exclusive items and even incentive trip points just by growing their business. Scentsy is always coming up with ways to reward consultants.
Can I join Scentsy even if I don’t plan to build a team?
Absolutely. Many Consultants focus only on personal sales and enjoy the commissions, perks, and product rewards without ever choosing to recruit. Team building is optional and can be explored later if you decide you want the additional bonuses and leadership income. As a team leader myself I never push my team into building their teams. If you just want to focus on sales we good with that!
What happens if I take a break from my Scentsy Business?
Scentsy is flexible, so you can work your business around your life. If you become inactive, you can reinstate in the future and return with a new consultant ID. Scentsy also offers a Reinstatement Starter Kit for anyone rejoining, so you can restart with updated tools and fragrance testers.
How do I join Scentsy in Canada?
Joining is simple. Choose your Starter Kit, complete the online enrollment form, and your Scentsy consultant website will activate within minutes. You’ll receive a welcome email and access to your training and tools right away. If you have questions, I’m here to walk you through every step.
Rejoining Scentsy is super simple! If you were a Consultant before and want to come back, all you need to do is log in through your old Consultant Dashboard using your Consultant ID#. Once logged in you click the reinstate button, Scentsy will automatically detect that you're returning and will guide you through the reinstatement steps.
It is absolutely FREE for you to come back!
You also get to choose a new sponsor if you’ve been gone longer than 6 months!
You’ll also have access to the Reinstatement Starter Kit, which gives you updated fragrance testers, printed materials and fresh products so you can restart strong. Once you are reinstated, your Personal Website goes live right away — so you can start sharing your link again the same day.
How do I reinstate my old Scentsy account?

Were you a Scentsy Consultant before? And have been gone longer than 2 years?
Anyone who was a consultant more than 2 years ago, can come back as a brand new Scentsy Consultant! Which means you can buy a new starter kit and earn the New Consultant Awards all over again! If it has been less than 2 years, your only option is Reinstating your account.
