Q. What is a warmer?
A. A Scentsy warmer has no wick, uses no flame, and produces no soot.  Instead of a flame, it uses a light bulb to slowly melt scented wax bars to maximize fragrance time.  The warmers are made from high-quality porcelain or ceramic and come in a variety of styles and sizes to fit any decor.

Q. How long will our Candle Bars last?
A. They will last a minimum of 60-80 hours. However some have lasted longer. It depends on the strength of the fragrance.

Q. What are Scentsy warmers made of, and where are they made?
A. Each warmer is made of high-quality ceramic or porcelain and comes in many styles and designs to fit any decor.  Scentsy warmers are designed by Scentsy and manufactured in facilities in China to Scentsy specifications.  China is one of the best in the world at ceramic manufacturing.

Q. What is a Scentsy Bar and where is it made?
A. Scentsy uses a custom paraffin wax blend selected for its superior scent loading capability, melting point and firmness. The Scentsy wickless candle bars are small blocks of scented wax that come in eight break-apart sections.  Because of the wax’s superior scent load capasity, Scentsy Bars can produce some of the most vibrant fragrance possible.  all Scentsy wax is manufactured at Scentsy’s headquarters in Meridian, Idaho, USA and in France. The type of wax we use is a non-issue, with regard to the chemicals released while burning. We only warm the scent out of the wax – the wax remains in the warmer, thus there is no danger of chemicals being released into the home.

Q. What type of oil do you use in your candles?
A. Scentsy uses both synthetic and naturally derived fragrance oils to achieve the highest quality and longest lasting wax bar. For more information click the links below.

Q. Do I use a whole candle bar at a time?
A. Candle Bars come in eight, break-a-part sections. Choose your favorite candle bar scent, break off one or two sections and place in our warmer. Next turn on your warmer…relax and enjoy. The only thing warming out is the fragrance.

Q. What makes Scentsy different from other candles?
A. The type of wax used allows Scentsy Bars to hold more fragrance oils, resulting in a better fragrance “throw.”  The amount of fragrance load for scentsy wickless candles is 15 – 18% oil compared with 5% for regular “wicked” candles.  Additionally, Scentsy Bars are safer than “wicked” candles because no flame is required for the wax to melt or to release the fragrance.

Q. How do I clean the wax out of the warmer?
A. While the wax is warmed place a couple of cotton balls into the wax to soak it up.

Q. Do Scentsy products contain phthalates?
A. NO! Scentsy products are made with fragrance oils that do not contain phthalates!

Q. What wattage of light bulb does the warmer use?
A. A standard 25 watt, small based light bulb. Each new warmer comes with its own light bulb.

Q. How much is shipping? A. Canadian shipping charges is $9 of order under $90, 10% on all orders over $90+ and free shipping over $265.

Q. How long until delivery?
A. Approximately 2 to 3 weeks from when the party closes or an order is placed.

Q. Can I sell online?
A. Yes. Independent Consultants can sell products online through their replicated website. All online advertising must first be approved by the home office.

Q. Can I sell on eBay? A. No. To maintain the quality and integrity of our products, Independent Consultants are prohibited from selling on eBay or any other auction type website or service.

Q. Can I make my own personal website?
A. Yes! Independent Consultants can make their own website, however all independent websites must be approved by the home office. The use of company images or the company name is strictly prohibited on personal websites.

Q. Can I sell at fairs and events? A. Yes! Independent Consultants are allowed to sell at local events and expos. You can elect to purchase inventory to resale at the events or take orders only. The choice is yours. You must submit the event to home office for approval. Only one rep per event.

Q. Are there any monthly or quarterly sales requirements? A. To remain an active Independent Consultant, consultants are required to sell $265 within a 4 month period, but the $265 has to be done in one full month not split between months.  If you do not sell your $265 then you will be terminated and no longer a consultant.  There are no fees for terminating.

Q. Are there any requirements to earn commissions on my team?
A. To earn commissions on your team, you must be a Lead Consultant and sell a minimum of 500, per month, in personal retail volume to qualify. A Lead Consultant is a person who has 500 in monthly personal retail sales, 1000 in Group Wholesale Volume in a month and one active frontline Consultant.

Q. Are we required to pay for any of the Host Rewards?
A. A $6 Host Rewards Fee – Party Fee can be paid either by the Host or the Consultant. Most Consultants use this as a thank you gift for the Host and pay the fee themselves.

Q. How much is a Starter Kit? A. Scentsy Starter Kits are $129 plus shipping and handling. Each kit contains all 80 plus scent samples and everything you need to start your successful Scentsy business. Or host a party and receive the Host kit for $77 or less

Q. How long does it take to get my Starter Kit? A. They generally ship starter kits within 72 hours of receiving your application. Starter Kits are shipped via UPS.

Q. Is the Consultant Scent of the Month Kit a required purchase?
A. No. We are never required to buy products.
